Julie-Ann began dancing at the young age of 5 and attended the North Cheshire Theatre School from being 14 years old and studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Drama and Vocal techniques. In the summer seasons, she worked as an entertainer at holiday parks around the U.K. Julie-Ann has also worked as a DJ in the Middle East, danced in a 5 star hotel in Japan and worked as a dancer and entertainer on a P&O cruise to Spain.
In 2006 the in-house production show at the “Park” resorts were choreographed by Julie-Ann and were shown at 35 different parks throughout the U.K. She has also choreographed the “Thomson Holidays” productions show in Cyprus. Julie-Ann was in New York in the summer of 2006 where she was teaching at a performing arts centre.
Julie-Ann now teaches for the Manchester Students Dance Society (as well as at Connections Dance Centre) teaching Dance Fitness, Street dance and choreographing their competition team. She is currently concentrating on gaining her teaching qualification here at Connections Dance Centre and is being coached by Rita Kenyon.
